Bills @ Jets 28 – 17 Bills
Jets have given up 330 yards passing in the last three games (Pats – L, Raiders – L, Jags – Narrow W). Bills are finally putting up points with Sammy Watkins getting involved and Tyrod Taylor finally hitting his stride. Rex Ryan wants that homecoming W.
Lions @ Packers 35-14 Packers
Lions haven’t won in Green Bay since 1991. I see the Packers getting back on track this week even with Eddie Lacy not meeting expectations. Cause let’s face it, it’s the lions and the packers. Defensive injuries to Clay Matthews and Sam Shields won’t hurt them. Packer’s fans: R-E-L-A-X.
Cowboys @ Buccaneers 17-10 Bucs
Cowboys quarterbacks not named Tony Romo finally started throwing the ball to Dez Bryant. And we all saw what happened: Touchdowns. If they’re going to get it done, it’s got to be this week. Jameis has finally started to realize he can play pretty well in this league.
Panthers @ Titans 37-20 Panthers
Panthers are legit. Titans are 0-4 at home and obviously the Panthers are undefeated away. Their schedule has been no joke. Packers, Indy, Seahawks to name a few. Cam Newton has won his last 11 starts going back to last season. The only active QBs to win 12 straight starts are Super Bowl winners (Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees). I’m not making any predictions in the NFC just yet but…….
Bears @ Rams 21-14 Rams
Todd Gurley’s about to run all over this Chicago team. Forte is questionable, Eddie Royal is questionable, even the place kicker is questionable. Rams are 3-1 at home and aren’t necessarily the team they used to be on offense and defense. Things are starting to click for this team and barring what the Cardinals do, I don’t see why they couldn’t squeak out a wild card spot.
Saints @ Redskins 24-21 Skins
This Rob Ryan defense can make any one look good. The Redskins are still in the hunt for the NFC East so they’re going to be hungry. Even if Drew Brees has another big game (I don’t know how he would with Willie Snead). I think having Desean Jackson back will allow this team to pick up a W.
Dolphins @ Eagles 24-18 Eagles
Eagles and Dolphins are about the same team right now. You never know what you’re going to get with this defense or offense. It’s a must-win game at home for the Eagles here to keep pace with that NFC East division. I see the Eagles taking this one.
Browns @ Steelers 17-14 Steelers
Browns always give their A-game against the Steelers. Especially in Pittsburgh. I don’t know why, but the Steelers have had a bad tendency against bad teams. It doesn’t help that Ben may not play, and LeVeon Bell is hurt, even with a sold backup in DeAngelo Williams. It’ll be close. I don’t think Ben should play and risk it with the bye week coming up. If Landry plays, all he needs to do is get the ball to Antonio Brown and his favorite dude Martavis Bryant.
Jaguars @ Ravens 27-18
Ravens have been having a rough year. Joe Flacco hasn’t shown up, and that Wide Receiving core has been riddled with injuries. Blake Bortles is having a very underappreciated season and I can see him tearing apart this Raven’s D.
Vikings @ Raiders 35-28 Raiders
The Viking’s performance so far has come to the surprise of many after week 1. Teddy Bridgewater is starting to become a leader, and AP is just being AP. Don’t take the Raiders too lightly, though. Derek Carr is putting up some crazy good numbers, and they aren’t the Raiders of the past.
Patriots @ Giants 42-21 Patriots
New Orleans put up 50 against this Giants defense. Yes they’re high octane, but what’s stopping the Patriots from doing this, especially since they have a lot more offensive weapons? No Dion Lewis won’t be much of an issue for this team, but he will be missed.
Chiefs @ Broncos 18-17 Broncos
This Bronco’s defense is too good. Peyton is coming off of something that hasn’t happened many times in his career, a loss. This will be a heavy defensive battle as Manning is not the same as he once was. I expect the Broncos to win that battle, and the Chiefs will have some issues getting started.
Cardinals @ Seahawks 35-18
The Seahawks have seem to like to mess with their fanbase. Start slow, end hot. They are currently in that progression of getting out of their slow start, and they will get hot eventually. It’s just a matter of when. This offense won’t be able to put up enough points to keep up with a reincarnated Carson Palmer. This is a must-win for the Seahawks if they want a better chance to win the division at the end of the year, but it won’t happen.
Texans @ Bengals 27-15
Here is another string of bad Monday night games. Last week with the Bears & Chargers, now a week Texans team vs. a solid Bengals team, in Cincinnati. We all know how dangerous Andy Dalton and AJ Green are together, but now that they’ve added Tyler Eifert into the mix, it’s hard to stop them. Other than DeAndre Hopkins, the Texans don’t have much to work with, and even if they do perform well offensively, it won’t be
